She has a strong experience in delivering therapy in both the NHS and private practice. She has had roles in primary and secondary care across the country, and currently works within a secondary care NHS service in Sussex, as well as being a member of the Efficacy team for over three years. She enjoys working within the CBT model as it is transparent, collaborative, and pragmatic; giving a clear roadmap to support people in their goals and hopes for the future.
Caroline enjoys working collaboratively with people on whatever they are struggling with; she has a strong skill set in working with depression, anxiety presentations, trauma, low self-esteem and impulsive behaviours. She is passionate about working with complex and enduring presentations (e.g. OCD, multiple traumas and people struggling with their relationships).
Her doctoral thesis related to reproductive losses; this is carried forward into her clinical work where she has a special interest in working with men and women’s reproductive health, losses and transitions (e.g. returning to work after maternity leave, not having children, abortion, miscarriage and traumatic births).
