Dr Usha Suryanarayan

Usha is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with over a decade of experience working in multidisciplinary teams and multicultural/ethnic contexts in the primary and secondary care settings. Usha has experience working with adults, families and children with a range of difficulties from mild to severe and enduring mental health problems. Usha has also worked as a consultant in a cardiac hospital offering psychological services for stress, anxiety disorders, work-life balance, depression, psychosomatic disorders and work-related difficulties. Usha also has experience working in schools as a consultant psychologist.
In the last five years, she had devoted her time to the NHS in secondary care, working with adults in an acute care setting.
Her special interests are stress management, positive mental health, anxiety and panic disorders, phobias, low self-esteem, worry, anger issues and marital and relationship problems.

Laura is a Clinical Psychologist and CBT therapist who, in addition to her work with Efficacy works in an NHS primary care setting with adults with depression and anxiety disorders (including panic disorder, health anxiety, OCD, trauma, social phobia, generalised anxiety, body dysmorphic disorder and more). Laura also works in a specialist NHS clinic for anxiety disorders, has worked in a specialist CBT service for adults with social anxiety and Body Dysmorphic Disorder, in sexual health service and secondary care settings with clients across the lifespan.
Laura has a special interest in working with depression, anxiety disorders, low self-esteem, sexual health, trauma and relationship difficulties. She is passionate about CBT and its potential to help people achieve positive change in their lives.
