Anita is working with Efficacy as a Junior Therapist and is completing her CBT training at Oxford University.
Before this, Anita was a practising GP in the NHS for 18 years. She has extensive experience of long-term conditions such as diabetes and respiratory disease and their impact on and by mental ill-health. She was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of GPs in 2014 as a mark of achievement, in recognition of her significant contribution to General Practice.
Anita has also worked in a commercial environment as a Director in the Healthcare practice of a large Management Consultancy company, Ernst & Young.
Anita has also been a Leadership Associate at the King's Fund, a pre-eminent health policy charity.
Anita is passionate about improving the mental health of people who are experiencing anxiety and mood disorders such as Panic, OCD, GAD, Social Anxiety Disorders, Health Anxiety, Low Self Esteem and all Depressive Illnesses. Also, Anita is highly experienced working with clients who have co-existing physical conditions.
