Sherene is a Qualified Low-Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapist currently in the process of completing further training to become a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist.
She works part-time at Efficacy and part-time as a Mental Health Advisor in the student counselling service at Kings College University completing assessments and offering short-term therapy to the staff and students. She has experience working in the NHS for South London and Maudsley Psychological therapies Service and East London Early Intervention in Psychosis service amongst other community services.
Her previous roles include working in Forensic units and clinical research. Sherene is trained to deliver Low-Intensity CBT interventions for panic, OCD, health anxiety, generalised anxiety disorder, social phobia as depression. She also has extensive experience in providing therapy through different mediums such as face to face, telephone and online.
Sherene’s enjoys working with a range of Anxiety disorders. Her special interests include low self-esteem, obsessive-compulsive disorder, specific phobias, perfectionism, depression and stress management.
