Katherine is a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with ten years of NHS experience. She worked for several years within South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation trust offering specialist CBT interventions to adults with anxiety and depression. She has also worked with the Sussex Coastal Psychological therapies team. Katherine has worked extensively with people experiencing depression and anxiety difficulties including generalised anxiety, panic disorder, social anxiety, health anxiety, OCD and trauma.
In 2014 Katherine completed a six-month placement at the Centre for Anxiety Disorders and Trauma where she received regular live CBT supervision from Senior Therapists.
Before becoming a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist Katherine worked as a Counsellor in Primary Care for some years as part of a small Psychological Therapies team, working with a varied range of difficulties.
Katherine has a special interest in working with people with a range of anxiety disorders, particularly Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and Panic Disorder, and she receives supervision from a senior Therapist at the Centre for Anxiety Disorders and Trauma who specialises in complex OCD presentations. She is also interested in working long-term with people who experience chronic and recurrent depression.
Katherine has completed various brief training for working with people who experience interpersonal and relationship difficulties and can bring this experience and interest into her Cognitive Behavioural practice.
Dr Janet Bradley
Janet has worked for over ten years in both public and private mental health settings. Janet worked within the NHS in London for several years offering specialist CBT to adults with anxiety and depression. Janet has worked with people experiencing worry, low self-esteem, panic, social anxiety, health anxiety, generalised anxiety, OCD and trauma, and has also worked in a child and family mental health service, offering help to families experiencing a range of difficulties and in a specialist CBT service for people following trauma. Janet has a particular interest in working with people experiencing work and career-related stress.
