Naomi is a BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist who also offers Compassion Focused Therapy and Mindfulness-based approaches. With over 20 years’ experience in the NHS, Naomi is also a registered mental health nurse and part-time lecturer at Leeds Beckett University. Naomi provides supervision to other therapists and is currently researching how to make clinical supervision more effective. Naomi also has further training in EMDR (eye movement and desensitisation and reprocessing) and bereavement counselling.
Naomi can help to treat clients suffering with anxiety including panic attacks and agoraphobia, depression, eating problems including bulimia and binge eating disorder, excessive worry, habit disorders, such as hair pulling, health anxiety (hypochondriasis), low self-esteem and low confidence, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), chronic pain, post-traumatic stress disorder, social anxiety, sleep problems, specific phobias and stress.
