After qualifying, Barbara worked as a senior and then lead therapist at the Priory Hospital in Glasgow for ten years. Petra is an experienced CBT therapist with over ten years’ experience. Veronica has worked in psychological therapies for the past 12 years and has worked with clients who have experienced a variety of difficulties, including all of the anxiety disorders, depression and trauma. Veronica currently works part-time for the NHS and privately as a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist.

Carol has been a practising therapist for ten years with a 15-year career in Social Work Services, Mental Health & Addictions Teams. She was a Senior Worker with the West Community Team overseeing intervention, monitoring practice and supervising staff. Her last two years with the Addictions and Mental Health Team was aligned with her role as Senior CBT Clinician within the CBT Clinic at Parkhead Hospital, an integrated service between Social Work and NHS Scotland. Work within the clinic comprised various disorders. However, there was dominance for complex presentations particularly that of psychosis, trauma, addiction and depression.
Carol has worked in private practice for ten years and since graduating from the University of Oxford in Psychological Trauma, has provided interventions and consultations to organisations, such as Renfrewshire Social Work Services, supporting social workers in their understanding and interventions with their clients who have experienced trauma and other life-changing events.
Carol is a lecturer at the Centre of Therapy, delivering Psychological Trauma training qualified practitioners who are undertaking Advanced Clinical Studies. Carol delivers and facilitates Continuous Professional Development in Psychological Trauma to qualified, accredited and practising CBT therapists. Carol is also a Post Graduate Qualified Clinical Supervisor and has case management experience both from a therapist and management perspective within the integrated service of Social Work and NHS Scotland and Non-statutory services such as Childline and Scottish Association for Mental Health.
